McCormick HS Boys Golf Team Hosts Interscholastic Competition At Monticello

The McCormick High School Boys Golf Team hosted the Abbeville Team on April 12 at the Monticello course. This was the team’s first interscholastic competition. OAC Hike at Richard B. Russell State Park

by LINDA McCLINTOCK ON SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 20th, over 30 SLV Outdoor Adventure Club (OAC) members came together for a hike at the Richard B. Russell State Park in Georgia.  We hiked on several of the trails at the park.  Everyone had a chance to hike the trails they wanted, with the distances ranging from 4 to 5 miles.  We enjoyed having the chance to meet some of the new residents of SLV at this event.  After our hike, several of us enjoyed a picnic lunch by the water.&...
