Sunday Mixed Doubles Golf Results for April 2025

by CHUCK & DENISE UITTO We played on two Sundays in April at both the Monticello and Tara Golf Courses. The weather was wonderful as the wintry season rain and cold weather was gone. We welcomed 25 new doubles partners this season! We come to enjoy the fun and meet new players. Strawberry Moon Rises Over Smooth Waters at OAC Kayak Gathering

BY ROSE TRACY  One the evening of June 21, twenty five members of the OAC gathered for a sunset/moonrise kayak event.  The weather was perfect - mid 80s and zero chance of rain - and the water was smooth as glass.  We launched from the boat ramp at Hickory Knob State Park and paddled out to the end of the point for a good view of the setting sun and the rising of the Strawberry Moon.  The June full moon is named after the wild strawberries that ripen during that month and...
