CAST for Kids Event Empowered Special Needs Individuals and Community

May 31 at the Dorn Fishing & Boating Facility was all about community.  America’s Boating Club Thurmond Lake (ABCTL) partnered with the CAST for Kids Foundation to hold a one-day fishing & boating experience for children with special needs.  ABCTL Executive Officer and Captain for the event Karen Love planned the day along with First Mate Danny Hilburn. McCormick County Historical Commission Completes Roof Replacement On Grist Mill

by JAMES BRADY IN AUGUST THE McCormick County Historical Commission, which owns and manages the Dorn Mill Complex was under contract with Midwest Maintenance Inc from Augusta, GA to replace the roofing system on our 1898 Grist Mill.
