SOMETIMES GOOD FORTUNE is found in the weather.  Nothing could be truer than the Jan. 12th kick off for the 2021 “Walk SLV Challenge” hosted by the Outdoor Adventure Club.  One day earlier and the weather was a tad chilly, one day later and the weather was bone chilling, but on Tuesday it was “just right” for walking and talking.  The Challenge began behind Monti's with dozens of people (at least 4 dozen), and Barclay, participating in a group walk on the back nine of the Monticello Golf Course. It was great to be outside and doing something both healthy and fun in a semi-social environment.  The next “Walk SLV Challenge” group walk is scheduled for Tara Golf Course on Monday, Feb. 8th at 1:00.  Residents who are members of the OAC, and want to participate in the challenge, but could not be at the kick off, are welcome to begin walking the streets now and meet up with everyone next month. Every step counts!
