ON SATURDAY, APRIL 18th, nine OAC members gathered together to bike ride the North Augusta Greeneway Trail. The weather was perfect, sunny and temperatures in the 80s, that resulted in a wonderful afternoon ride. The group met at the Food Lion parking lot and drove to the Riverview Park where we readied our bikes and gear. The bikers then rode the 12 mile, paved, Rails-to-Trails path, that took us thru the beautiful wooded right-of-way seeing birds, and other wildlife. The group also ventured out on the Hammond’s Ferry Loop of the trail with a ride along the Savannah River and then back to the Riverview Park pavilion where we stopped for lunch. A good time was had by all. Can't wait until our next OAC outing.
