ON APRIL 1, the SLV Motorcycle Group went to the Georgia Safari Conservation Park on the South side of Madison, GA. The park is on 530 acres of rolling hills and pastures. We were loaded up into Safari Trucks, with very comfortable seats, and driven around the park to view the wildlife. We had a guide telling us about the many animals and the park. There are several different tour packages to choose from. We chose the 1.5 hour Guided Safari Tour which was $39 per person. The park is only 1.5 hours away from SLV. We ate lunch at the Farmview Market in Madison, GA. The weather was a beautiful sunny warm day. We traveled 165 miles and spent 7 hours on our adventure. David Miller, John Avino, Lynn Gullickson, and I participated.
