February was another fun and exciting month for the Blazing Paddles Pickleball Club and the SLV Pickleball community. From the Mixed Doubles Winter League to our popular Jumpstart Class, there was something for everyone. And, we are just getting started, as 2026 will be packed with lots of fun, social, and competitive events.
Pickleball Jumpstart Class 2026-1 was a Big Hit (and a few misses…)
On Saturday March 7th the Blazing Paddles Pickleball Club hosted our first Jumpstart Class of 2026 at our beautiful Pickleball Complex. A total of 24 students and several instructors participated in this fun and informative event. The Jumpstart Program is geared towards folks that have never played before and covers the basics of the sport. Everyone had a wonderful time, and the improvement from the beginning of the class to the end was obvious. A big shout out to all the players and instructors for making the session such a tremendous success. We plan to offer several more classes in 2026.
Winter Mixed Doubles and Men’s and Women’s Spring Ladder Leagues Update
The final games of the Mixed Doubles Winter League were not completed when this article was submitted. I will provide the results of the three divisions in the next edition. Also, the Men’s and Women’s Spring Ladder Leagues will be starting next week. Stay tuned for more details on that.
